About the Programme

The promotion of health and social care is one of the top priorities of the OKD Foundation. Through projects focused on medical and social facilities in the region, the OKD Foundation makes efforts to improve diagnostic and therapeutic standards and aims to improve the work and social integration of handicapped and socially disadvantaged persons. The OKD Foundation supports projects which (i) clearly impact positively on given communities, and (ii) improve people’s quality of life or health, particularly in areas jeopardised by industrial impacts.
