About the Programme

The OKD Foundation perceives the environment not only from the traditional environmental perspective, and as such, in addition to the projects aimed at improving the environment quality, it also supports for example an environmental way of living and other forms of public promotion of the sustainability principles. It also strives to actively contribute to the Region development and focuses on continuous promotion of the Region attractiveness for both the domestic and foreign visitors. A separate category comprises supports for projects aimed at improving the living conditions in the Region villages and towns. The Foundation also wants to participate in an active rescue and reconstruction of significant cultural and natural monuments as the rich cultural and historical heritage of the Region.
